A long, long time ago (Oct. 6, 1950 ) In a city far, far away (Atlanta, Georgia - USA) 9 months in the making Michael ALEXANDER Jakubowski MY SIBLINGS I am the oldest of 4 sons. Next in line is John followed by his fraternal, non-identical twin, Jim. Both about 3 years behind me. Steve came along, 7 years later. John and I were very close over the years but time changes things. Now I don't see him nor Jim at all despite the fact they live fairly close by. And forget about phone calls. Wow! some people really change. Steve and I still talk with some regularity and see each other periodically, when vacations, business or special events allow. Want more? see: MYBROTHERS !!! MY "KIDS" I was married once, a very long time ago. Out of that came my two children, Andrea and Jason. They are both full grown adults now with children of their own. MY HONEY I live with Arvee Robinson. We met May 7, 2001 at a Pranic Healing event where everyone in the worldwide organization simultaneously meditated for world peace. We really hit it off and in August we went to Maui. We had a ball there. At one point I asked her if she liked it there and she said "Yes" to which I replied "Good! One day I'm going to move here". Since then we always talk about the "someday" when we will move there. Even though this home in Upland is great, I still focus on Maui, but for now this is a very good second choice. Want more? see: MYARVEE !!! MY PASSION My real passion is Kung Fu, specifically Jeet Kune Do (JKD) or "Bruce Lee's Style". I teach it and love to empower people with self defense skills so that they have higher self esteem and can protect themselves. I teach by giving workshops or private lessons and eventually will have a school/academy in Maui. It will be called MAUI WARRIORS and the MAUI will have 2 meanings: 1st because it is in Maui and 2nd it is an acronym for Martial Arts Unification Institute (ie, "MAUI") where all martial arts are melded into 1 fluid style. Want more? see: MYKUNGFU !!! MY CAR In late October 2007 I went "green" and bought a new 2008 Toyota PRIUS, an hybrid car. I get from 40 to 45 mpg. It's a good car with a few faults but the gas mileage and stereo pay for itself. Want more? see: MYCARS !!!? MY JOB I currently work for Los Angeles County in the Internal Services Department's Information Technology Services. I've been an employee since October 1977. I am in the worst retirement plan they offer and it's my own fault. In 1982, after my 5 years of service, they offered everyone a 1 time chance to pull out of a great retirement plan and I did. Oh I got money for it but now, many years later I am really regretting it. I have to work til I'm 65 just to get an OK retirement plan. Now I don't trust anything the County offers. And I'm right to do so. Want more? see: MYJOB !!! MY EXTRA INCOME (i.e., Retirement) I have some extra businesses because I need additional income flowing in order to retire from my County job. Once I retire I will teach Kung Fu full time. 1st business is Fuel Freedom International (FFI) and it is a company that has a product that improves gas mileage and engine performance. I went from 13 to 18.5 mpg in my 2000 740iL BMW that I traded in for my PRIUS! This stuff really works.Want more? see: MYFFI !!! 2nd business is IAM Subliminal Empowerment and it has subliminal messages for Self improvement. The messages are designed to connect with the deepest, core consciousness called the IAM (pronounced I AM but as 1 word) because changes begin in the inside and that affects the outside. It's a great home; we each have a bedroom that we use as an office, our bedroom is huge we have a pool and a jacuzzi. I really like living here. Everybody here is so ultra friendly.
